Happenings at the Homestead
Open Barn Day
Join us June 22, 12-4 pm for Open Barn Day and see the interior of the historic Glidden barn! House tours at 12:30 and 2 pm, barn open all day. Crafts for children, blacksmithing demos and more. $5 admission, free for members.
IAM recognition
The Glidden Homestead was honored with four awards from the Illinois Association of Museums:

-- Best Practices Award in Building Preservation
-- Volunteers Roger Keys and Jim Morel were recognized for more than 25 years of volunteer service to the Homestead.
