Barbed Wire Pioneers is a
documentary created by graduate
students at Northern Illinois University
(DeKalb IL) under the
direction of Dr. Jeffrey Chown. This
award-winning video tells
the story of barbed wire from its
invention in the late 19th Century,
to its lasting legacy today. Barbed
Wire Pioneers is the tale of three
men, Issac Ellwood, Joseph Glidden and
Jacob Haish. It is the
story of success, competition and
community spirit that
set in motion events still felt today. |
