at the Glidden Homestead & Historical Center.

           Included in the plan is a Welcome Center and
extensive work on the historic barn in order to create an historical museum that will highlight Joseph Glidden's  invention of barbed wire, as well as other the innovations
and work of other icons who have contributed significantly
to DeKalb County and the entire northern Illinois region.

is available outlining the plan for the property
and the fund drive goals.
